I started art lessons! They were for a really reasonably priced tuition, from an asian woman who lives in the city next to mine. She's very critical, but in an awesome way! I've learned so much from just one class.
I've also started anatomy study (bought an atlas) It's full of cross-sections of guts and innards! Hooray. It really helps both your drawing as well as shading/texture skills, though. Maybe I'll take a few photos sometimes. Most people who visit my page probably think I'm just a lazy-bum animu artist. Ah wells.
I need to learn to take photos of large pieces of paper! I can't scan any of my real-life work, and my photos always come out looking like shi**.
Plus, I'm not sure if I should submit all anime, realism, still life, and experimentals on one account. Feels a bit -weird- to me, since there wouldn't really be a consistent style. Then again, maybe I'm just obsessive compulsive.
I probably really shouldn't draw anime anymore, but it's just so much fun. I've been incorporating more detail, thought, and effort into them, though, so maybe it's still okays. ;w;
Hopefully, in 2 and a half years I will improve enough to be admitted to a high-scale art school! The times where I consider going into art the most would be while doing chem equations. It's true the art industry is cold and in some ways, awful, but I just can't seem to imagine sitting in some cold lab doing math for the rest of my life.
yeah, unlikely expectations, but maybe I'll make it someday. xP
